LOCATION: College Dr. near Cherrywood Dr

On Saturday, October 27, 2018, at approximately 8:00 am, a vehicle traveling South on College Dr. approaching Broadacres Dr. crossed the Northbound lanes and left the roadway striking a utility pole causing the vehicle to rest on it’s side. The sole occupant exited the vehicle with no reported injuries. The damage to the pole caused the roadway to be completely closed for 30 minutes. It also caused a slight disruption of electrical service and prolonged internet service outage to approximately 1500-2000 customers. Chews Landing Fire Department, Station 82, responded to assist. The crash is under investigation by the Gloucester Twp. Police Traffic Safety Unit.
