On July 3, 2020 at approximately 8:20 pm, the Gloucester Township Police Department’s Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a house fire at 5 Thisleton Road in the Sicklerville section of Gloucester Township. Arriving Officers observed smoke coming from the interior of the residence and a small fire on the first floor in the kitchen area. This incident is a good reminder to check the batteries in your smoke detectors and ensure that are working properly in the event they are ever needed.
