Chief’s Message: Nov. 25, 2019

November 25, 2019:

As we enter into the Holiday Season, we at the Gloucester Township Police Department have much to be thankful for.  We are thankful that we live in a nation that guarantees us our freedoms.  We are thankful for those whom we are honored to help at their time of need.  We are thankful for this great community that we serve.  We are thankful to be able to do what we are called to do.  We are thankful for the many people who thank us for our service.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, please take a moment to remember the 110 Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty this year.  Please remember their families, who are grieving their loved ones during the holiday season.  We honor them by carrying on our law enforcement mission.  The men and women of the Gloucester Township Police Department will be on duty and ready to respond when our community needs us.

On behalf of all of the members of the Gloucester Township Police Department, know that we are honored to serve you, and we would like to wish you a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving!

Thank you for your support!

David J. Harkins
