On 3/8/2019, at approximately 23:07 PM, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded for a report of an active dwelling fire on the unit block of Evergreen Ave. Blackwood. Gloucester Township Police units arrived to find heavy fire coming from the roof.

GTPD News Release: Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle

On Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at approximately 2:09 pm Gloucester Township Police were dispatched to the area of Hickstown Road near Little Mill Road for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle who was unconscious. The driver of the vehicle remained with the pedestrian until the arrival of police.

Nighttime Condominium Fire Displaces One Family

On Tuesday February 19th at approximately 7:02PM the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Broadacres Drive Blackwood, NJ 08012 (Huntington Mews Condominiums) for a report of smoke coming from a condominium. Upon officers arrival, the interior of the condominium was fully engulfed with flames and heavy smoke.

Enhanced Patrol and Automated License Plate Reader “ALPR” Alerts Police to A Stolen Motor Vehicle

On 2/19/2019, at approximately 10:54 AM, the Gloucester Township Police 24 Hour Community Policing Dispatch Center received notification that a stolen vehicle was traveling on Blackwood-Clementon Rd. utilizing an Automated License Plate reader (ALPR). This system reads license plates and compares it to a list of violations and/or wanted/stolen vehicles.

Late Night Apartment Fire Displaces Two Families

On Sunday February 17th at approximately 10:05PM the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the 400 block of 1341 Blackwood Clementon Road Clementon, NJ 08021 (Millbridge Gardens Apartments) for a report of flames coming from a balcony. Upon officers arrival, the balcony and the connected apartment were fully engulfed with flames.

Vehicle Crash Results In A Road Closure And Utility Outages
