Gloucester Township Police Media Release- Driver Arrested for Pointing Gun During Road Rage

On Sunday, October 9, 2022 at approximately 10:34 am, the Gloucester Township Police received a 9-1-1 call reporting an erratic driver in the area of Blackwood Clementon Road and Peters Lane. The caller reported that the driver rolled down his window and pointed a chrome plated hand gun at him.

Gloucester Township Police Media Release: GTPD Investigate Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash Involving a Garbage Truck

On Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at approximately 6:51 PM Gloucester Township Police were dispatched to the area of the 900 Block of Johnson Road to investigate a report of a serious motor vehicle crash with entrapment and a possible vehicle fire. Arriving officers located a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu that had struck the rear of a garbage truck causing the driver to be pinned inside of the vehicle.

GTPD Media Release Vehicle Crashes Into Residence 5-7-2022

On 5/7/22, at approximately 3:17 AM, Gloucester Township Police responded to Douglas Avenue in Blackwood for a reported vehicle into a residence. The driver, later identified as Timothy Brown had struck another vehicle, which caused this vehicle to careen off the road and crash into the side of a residence.

GTPD Media Release: Morning Crash Involving a School Bus Injures Both Drivers on Jarvis Road

On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at approximately 8:00am, Gloucester Township Police responded to the 1400 block of Jarvis Road for a reported motor vehicle crash involving a school bus. Upon arrival, officers located a school bus and Toyota Camry disabled in the westbound lane as a result of a head on collision.
