On 3/8/2019, at approximately 23:07 PM, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded for a report of an active dwelling fire on the unit block of Evergreen Ave. Blackwood. Gloucester Township Police units arrived to find heavy fire coming from the roof.

13 Drunk Drivers Arrested During Grant Funded Crackdown in Gloucester Township

During the past holiday season, The Gloucester Township Police Department (GTPD) partnered with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and participated in the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Year End Holiday Crackdown. Between December 7, 2018 and January 1, 2019 GTPD increased proactive enforcement operations utilizing marked and unmarked patrols designed to combat instances of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) due to drugs and alcohol.
